Weightbot Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 26, 2026

Weightbot is provided by Patrick Steiner. This policy explains how the Weightbot app handles information.

Data collection

Weightbot does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data. The app does not require an account, and it does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies.

Health data

With your permission, Weightbot may read and write weight and waist-circumference data in Apple Health. This information is handled through Apple Health on your device and is not sent to Patrick Steiner or to any third-party server by Weightbot. You can change or revoke Weightbot’s Apple Health access at any time in the Health app or in your device settings.

Data stored on your device

Weightbot stores its settings, such as your preferred unit and reminder choices, on your device. Removing the app removes its local app data. Health data stored in Apple Health is managed separately by Apple Health.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, Weightbot uses local notifications on your device. Notification settings can be changed in the app or in your device settings.

Third-party services

Weightbot does not integrate third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. Purchases or optional tips are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple’s privacy policy.

Children’s privacy

Weightbot does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
